Participate
Client: Institute of Development Studies and Beyond 2015
The Participate Initiative provides high quality evidence on the reality of poverty at ground level, bringing the perspectives of the poorest into the current debate.
The Participate project is a global initiative to bring together knowledge from participatory research programmes from across the world. Its purpose is to engage with those who live in greatest poverty or who are most marginalised.
With partners across the world Real Time has been developing participatory video projects and recording documentary material. These will communicate stories about how change can happen, what prevents it and why
it is important to listen to marginalised groups.
The first film made by Real Time is available in the development section of the Guardian’s website.
You can read about other aspects of this project at the Participate website.
