Video Production
Video has become an essential method for communication, it's unrivalled as a medium to get stories across to the widest audience.
This course covers the processes of video production, from the initial idea through to a final product, providing an accessible introduction to digital filmmaking techniques, designed to offer a rapid affordable way to acquire comprehensive video production skills.

The course is suitable for complete beginners and for people with video skills from any personal or professional background.
The aim is to provide all participants with a solid foundation of practical knowledge: a working understanding of digital cameras, sound recording, interview techniques, filming on location and industry language. Participants will work on short films and exercises in a range of genres using different production techniques.

Video Editing
The Video Editing course offers the opportunity to quickly and affordably acquire comprehensive post-production skills in a small group setting. We teach primarily on Adobe Premiere Pro, but offer participants the chance to trial and compare other software such as Final Cut Pro and iMovie.

The course will cover all aspects of digital editing from how to use the editing software, importing, logging and editing, to adding soundtracks and effects. It will also cover workflow techniques: helping to demonstrate how to turn your filmed material into a well-structured final documentary film, short video, or promotional clip.
