Video acted as the medium to integrate the different arts activities. By establishing a positive and supportive environment Real Time ensured that each person in this vulnerable group felt confident and comfortable using the equipment and telling their stories to camera.

Dressing-up and role-play enabled the group to explore and elaborate on their stories and their obvious enjoyment of this element is captured on video.

The ensuing DVD was screened at a celebratory event. Every participant received a copy as both as record of their achievement and a way to show others their work.

A combined arts project involving Reading Churches Women’s Centre, Pilgrim Hearts Trust and Real Time.
